In here you will see how the Red Eye skins can change the appearance of your computer!

hi all., since i buy my new TV/FM tunner for my pc i start getting some issues with object dock., the thing is that when i use my tv tunner to see the.., tv(ehem..), and change it into full view, object dock stays over the image, the only thing i do is to change the settings to just display on the system tray., and when i finish using the tv tunner, i set it up to display normaly (tabs always on top).., now, my question is this: how can i make a short cut to change the position of the dock without going into the settings?

any help?

Not currently. I am considering adding a hotkey to temporarilly hide & disable all of ObjectDock / press again to reshow. Would this help you at all?

Yes. That'd be a very nice feature.
Maybe a list of apps that will hide it if they are run?

That list of apps can even be a powerfeature where you have to edit a .ini file to configure. But it'd be nice feature.

thomassen: not a bad idea w/ the list-of-apps bit. note, the next refresh of v1.6 has a new feature as well...not totally related but similar...a mode where you can keep the dock always on top, but it automatically switches into autohide when there's a maximized application. clever eh?

Sweet, I haven't used OD for a while now because of this and other (ressources) reasons, but I might have to install OD again when 1.6 is released.

Excellent feature Jeff

aufich definitely worthwhile getting the newest version, many additional features and once you get used to it you will find your computer is naked without it.

Thats exactly the way I feel without Right-Click! I have become more and more depended on Right-Click, and after a while I realized that I hardly ever used OD anymore, so I uninstalled it to safe the ressources. But I certainly will give it a go again.

Might come in handy, if the dual monitor quirk is fixed. Currently if I have a dock on the right side of monitor#1, and set it to autohide, it doesn't hide, it just slides over to the left side of monitor#2. And it's difficult to get it back to monitor#1, short of turning off autohide.
Same thing with a dock on left side of monitor#2.... it just slides over to the right side of monitor#1.

Personally, I like thomassen's idea better.

I use Right-Click as well and am getting used to it, but I always use FF full screen and as a result OD has filled the need to quickly access running programs & system tray and few must have programs with the task bar hidden. With Right-Click taking care of the rest. I must say I refuse to do without WB's & IconPackager as well.

Many new people I believe think of Stardock products as only prettying up the OS but convenience, increased productivity and ease of use are becoming much more the reason I use the products.

I agree with MySecret, the productivity apps that Stardock is what makes it worthwhile for me to support them.  (For the record . . Luna really is ugly and WB is one of the first apps I install on a clean XP build.)

ObjectBar is still my favorite app.  It's like Super-RightClick!

I saw something like that in docklets, for 3D games that interfered with the dock.
